VanTrek Couriers was founded by Mustafa Gazi to offer businesses and logistics partners something often missing from courier services: the operational discipline of someone who has run high-volume delivery operations from the inside.
Our story
From the sortation floor to founding VanTrek
Mustafa's logistics career began in operations management at Amazon. As a Step-Up Area Manager he managed three shift managers within a wider operation of supervisors, leads and more than a hundred sortation associates – learning that great operations are built on clear standards, safe working and people who know what is expected of them.
A move into delivery resource management took him closer to the road: planning capacity, coordinating delivery resources and understanding what makes last-mile delivery succeed or fail.
In 2021 he founded MET Logistics, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner. Over four and a half years he built the business to approximately £2 million in annual turnover, managing up to 100 self-employed drivers and up to 70 vehicles at peak. Budgets, fleet costs, maintenance, compliance, recruitment and daily performance were all his direct responsibility.
VanTrek Couriers is the next chapter: a new, independent business that applies everything learned in those roles to a courier service built on reliability, accountability and straight talking.

- Coordinated delivery resources, performance and capacity planning across last-mile delivery operations.
- Gained first-hand insight into how delivery networks plan, measure and flex capacity day to day.

Founder & Operator
MET Logistics – Amazon Delivery Service Partner
- Built and ran a last-mile delivery business with approximately £2 million annual turnover.
- Managed up to 100 self-employed drivers at peak, and a fleet of around 37 vehicles off-peak rising to up to 70 during peak periods.
- Directly responsible for operational budgets, fleet costs, workforce planning, maintenance, repairs and servicing, compliance, recruitment, performance and delivery execution – working closely with fleet managers, delivery leadership, drivers and maintenance suppliers.
- MET Logistics no longer trades.
